At the inn restaurant, a mysterious woman asks Maggie questions about the Collins family.

Sam becomes disturbed when he learns about the mysterious woman who has come to town.

The ghost of Bill Malloy appears to David and threatens Matthew, who prepares to kill Victoria.

Roger and Burke search for Victoria. The ghost of Josette and Bill appear and scare Matthew.

Victoria is certain she saw the ghost of Josette. The spirit moves between the columns at the Old House.

Sam reveals to Roger that Roger’s estranged wife Laura has returned to Collinsport.

Elizabeth believes that Laura should not see her son David. Sam paints a strange portrait.

Laura reveals that she has come back for David, who has a nightmare about his mother.

David is told that his mother is back in Collinsport. He feels that she is watching him.

Laura and Burke discover their respective plans. Sam resumes work on his odd painting.

After his nightmare, David is reluctant to see Laura. When they meet, he runs away from her.

Laura agrees to stay in Matthew’s old cottage. While asleep, David hears his mother calling for him.

Collins family lawyer Richard Garner promises to expedite the divorce of Roger and Laura.

Roger and Burke argue about Laura. Roger notices that Sam’s painting closely resembles Laura.

Sheriff Patterson questions Laura about the dead body found in her apartment in Phoenix, Arizona.

When David sees Laura on Widow’s Hill, he becomes frightened and nearly falls off the cliff.

Victoria encourages David to speak to Laura, but he is not sure she is his real mother.

David shows Laura a drawing he made and she tells him of the place she wishes to take him.

Victoria gives David the mysterious painting from Sam. David has a nightmare vision.

Sam is disturbed to hear of David’s nightmare about the painting and begins to make a new one.
